Recently, we had the pleasure of styling a wedding at the iconic Infinity Chapel, Conrad Bali, and it reminded us why we fell in love with floral design in the first place: the ability to create beauty that stands still, even when the plans are shifting.

The Vision: Simple, Intentional, Elegant

From our very first meeting, this couple had a clear vision. They wanted a mood board that didn’t just fill a space, but reflected their personalities. For the Bali Flower Decor (BFD) team, the goal was simple: highlight the architectural lines of the chapel with understated, breathtaking florals. We wanted the decor to feel like it belonged there—organic, sophisticated, and “unforgettably simple.”

The 48-Hour Pivot

As every Bali wedding planner knows, the tropical sky has a mind of its own. Just two days before the “I do’s,” the forecast called for heavy rain. For many, this would be a moment of stress, but for our team and this incredible couple, it was a moment for creativity.

We quickly pivoted the cocktail and reception setups to a more intimate indoor location. The goal remained the same: to make the reality even better than the mood board.

A Ceremony in the Mist

As the vows began, the rain turned the glass-walled chapel into a private sanctuary. The “cool, intimate vibes” of the weather outside only made the warmth of our floral arrangements and candles glow brighter inside.
